The Trillium Trio is a flute, violin, and cello trio. Each of us is a professionally trained musician. Collectively we have over 50 years of experience playing for weddings and other celebratory events.
Our flutist, Ruth Washington Mayhew, received her undergraduate degree from Lawrence University and her graduate degree from Northwestern University. She is the principal flutist of Symphony Pro Musica. She also plays regularly with the Orlando Philharmonic in Florida.
Our violinist, Valerie Clemans, received her undergraduate degree from Princeton University and her graduate degree from the University of Michigan. She is the Concert Mistress of Symphony Pro Musica.
Our cellist, Rebecca Shaw, just received a Graduate Performance Diploma in Early Music from the Longy School of Music. She also holds a Masters Degree and Performance Certificate in Chamber Music from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Bachelor of Music degree from Rutgers University.
